Dear Parents,

We thank you so much for the kind letter and for the parcels which you have sent through your friend.
Here we all are fine, specially our son Kesang Dorjee. Now he starts to walk one two steps and starts to talk some baby language. He is really growing fast. After three months Chokey will be going to Lhasa for a short period.
Last time you had sent cigars for my father in Lhasa and it seems he enjoyed it, so he wrote me saying to thank you for that. By the way I am sending you 2 small Chinese porceline and one bigger one through your friend. These porceline are a property from our house and these are a semi-antic things., which many generations has already used them. Please find enclosed a calender that was made in Nepal. Even though the values may not be important, I hope you will accept them as a token of friendship on occasion for the coming Christmas.
So until the next I wish all our best regards and please do write us from time to time. Many regards from Chokey too.

Yours

Wangdu , Chokey and Kesang
